Brittany Cross Recognized with the 2018 NAILBA Chairman’s Award

(Fairfax, Va.)—Jeff Mooers, 2018 Chairman of the National Association of Independent Life Brokerage Agencies (NAILBA), has selected Brittany Cross, President of Labyrinth Financial Services in Portland, Oregon as the recipient of the 2018 NAILBA Chairman’s Award. The honor was presented at the association’s annual meeting, NAILBA 37 in Orlando, Florida.

The award, created in 2009, was developed to recognize the efforts of a NAILBA volunteer who has performed “over and above” normal expectations during the Chairman’s term. In presenting the award to Cross, Mooers shared, “this person doesn’t simply check all the boxes, she builds new boxes, and then checks them, too. She served on the NAILBA board from 2015 until earlier this year, and she’d earned that board spot through selfless commitment to NAILBA before then."

Mooers continued, explaining, “She volunteered to lead our Annual Meeting Sponsorship committee early this year, and watching her lead was truly amazing. She has an uncanny talent for bringing people together for a common goal.” He concluded, “Our Sponsorship for this year’s meeting was extremely successful, to be sure. But the reward, for me, went beyond that.”
