COVID-19 Vaccination Strongly Encouraged

Vaccinations Recommended - Begin your travel to the event only after you are fully vaccinated, unless you have a medical or religious reason that would prevent you from doing so. (Fully vaccinated means at least 2 weeks have passed since your second dose of a two-dose vaccine, or the single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.)

Mask Up - NAILBA will follow the local and national guidance on masks that is current at the time of the conference. The CDC recommends that all people, regardless of vaccination status, should wear face coverings in indoor public settings in areas of high transmission.

Health Check - NAILBA will ask all attendees to self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms or exposure throughout the conference and to confirm no symptoms before showing up each day. Do not enter the NAILBA event space if you have any symptoms of any Coronavirus/COVID-19 or any other contagious infections spread mainly from inter-personal contact.

COVID-19 Response & Protocols

A thriving business travel industry is critical for a booming economy. To do our part of that effort, NAILBA is bringing together our industry November 15-17 at Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

The health and safety of our employees and attendees is a priority. The venue, service providers, and NAILBA are working together to take reasonable precautions to follow any CDC or local government guidelines for health and safety at events. NAILBA will continue to monitor these safety guidelines. Additional safety measures may be provided prior to the Annual Meeting.

General Questions (As of November 2021)

What precautions is NAILBA implementing for the safety and health of attendees?

  • Enhanced cleaning protocols for NAILBA meeting and event spaces.
  • Hand sanitizer stations will be positioned throughout the meeting space by the event venue.
  • Require frequent employee and vendor handwashing with soap and water for at least 20 seconds and increase monitoring to ensure adherence.
  • Limit attendance or seating capacity to allow for social distancing, or host smaller events in larger rooms.
  • Manage flow and use multiple entrances and exits and discourage crowded waiting areas.
  • Provide physical guides to ensure that individuals remain at least 6 feet apart in lines and at other times. Appropriate Signage/floor decals to reinforce spatial distancing and other safety reminders.
  • Use of shields or separators at registration and other areas as needed.
  • Socially distant food and beverage/meal set ups. Lunches will be individually packaged and preset. Additional food safety plans will be developed for other food functions at the event venue.
  • Wider expo hall aisles and review of booth density numbers (staff and visitors allowed based on total square footage).
  • Event Registration requires an Attendee/Exhibitor Personal Safety Commitment.
  • NAILBA will continue to monitor safety guidelines. Additional safety measures may be provided prior to the Annual Meeting.
